Leading up to the Photoshoot

Declutter – remove personal items, you want the potential buyers to see themselves in the house. You also want them to see the house and not a lot of stuff everywhere. This includes the refrigerator door and countertops. Use this time to get started on packing – you’re about to sell your house!

A lot of times people think things won't be in the photo because they are thinking of normal picture sizes that don't capture the whole room. My lens is super wide to get the whole space, although it kind of glosses over the details, you can still see when there's a lot of stuff everywhere. 


Clean the house or hire someone to do a deep clean and steam clean carpets.


Clean the windows.


Replace burned out lightbulbs and make sure they are the same type/color lightbulb within the same fixture.
